English Summer is temperamental to say the least! We often buy a whole wardrobe of high summer wear, only to be graced with high winds and cool temperatures, left unable to style those tropical outfits. I have always been a fan of the shirt and jumper combo, it just screams class. The chunky knit of this Zara jumper (from the sale) is perfect to roll up to three-quarter length sleeves, showing a glimpse of an accessorised wrist; in this instance a rose gold watch. The chunky knit also provides the essential warmth needed on chilly Summer days, especially ideal for coastal trips. Pairing the shirt/jumper combo with a denim skort provides the Summer vibe. Navy, white and denim demands red accessories; I chose red frill suede flats; a red box bag (both from Topshop) and a signature red lip to make the colours pop. The final touch needed was the navy and white dotted silk neckerchief, adding a sense of Summer chic to the outfit.
