For my birthday I was indulged with this exquisite Gucci Marmont hibiscus red leather card case. I am TOTALLY in love!

Recently visiting Florence, being the birthplace of Guccio Gucci it always going to be a poignant city for me as a fashion student. The Gucci Gardens; a gallery depicting the world of Gucci and an explorative journey through the evolution of the sought-after brand was the most exhilarating experience. Each distinctive room gave an insight into the Gucci brand; displaying work from Gucci’s beginnings as a travel brand, to its present extensive portfolio. As well as, the brands development under direction from different creative directors.

This knowledge not only developed my love for Gucci; it ignited an obsession and understanding for the brand and its admirable heritage. Gucci originated as a luggage brand, in strong bold colours. This card case pays homage to the block colour of the Gucci original. The antique gold GG emblem highlights the renowned Gucci trademark.
