Green is a key colour in my 2020 summer wardrobe. Having green eyes, I have always favoured green clothing as it makes my eye colour pop. Luckily for me 2020 brought the trend of sage green. The array of my green picks are sourced from Zara, the everchanging always in-vogue favourite. The first item is the denim ‘khaki’ skort. I’m a big fan of skorts, the comfort and reduced worry of a skirt riding up with my long legs has always been a concern. Skorts however reduce this anxiety, promoting a comfortable style, while still sporting the skirt aesthetic in the front. This particular skort has a cross-over front.
LOOK 1 – SKORT
Look 1 is a simple khaki skort, paired with the white t-shirt with puff sleeves. The green skort is complimented by the bright white of the simple t-shirt, while the gold espadrilles with tie ankle contribute a dressy aspect to the relaxed outfit. The cross-front detailing of the skort with button finish is a snazzy addition to the basic item.
LOOK 2 – SMOCKED TOP
Look 2 is a sage smocked detail top with puff sleeves and a crop length from Zara. I paired the top with high-waisted white denim shorts, natural brown belt with tortoise shell statement buckle and Topshop V front sage heels.
