SHIRT DRESS & SWEATER VEST

Zara knits are the one this Winter! The knit vest is perhaps the leading trend this Winter. These two stunning knits were my favourites on the market. Knowing this trend was looming I was checking New In on my favourite sites every day! Finally, Zara released two matchless designs. I love following trends but putting my own twist on them too. I adore green and this shade is particularly unique. I fell totally in love with the unique design; the lettuce sleeve, stitch detailing and high neckline are all details that create the sweetest design. The cropped fit adds a unique aesthetic to the jumper style. Styled over the top of a Zara midi shirt dress with cream boots; the look is an ultimate Winter vibe. The camel cable-knit sweater vest with frills is another flawless design. The oversized fit and V neckline are beautiful details. I was planning on sending one knit back, however I just couldn’t decide which design to keep so settled on both! To finish off the classic fit I added my Zara chunky gold bust necklace with chain. J’adore sweater vests.

NEUTRALS TWO-WAYS

Who doesn’t love a neutral? Mixing white with camel/sandy tones is a favourite colour combo of mine for the Summer months. As you all know I am a detail addict, whether it be voluminous sleeves or creative collar. This camel H&M midi shirt dress is a fantastic piece from Spring to Autumn. The midi length and shirt collar combined with the oversized nature of the dress screams for a statement belt to clinch in the waist. Here I added the Zara jute, knot belt in-keeping with the neutral vibe. This look would work with stylish, white chunky sneakers, but here I styled the look with Primark off-white ankle-tie sandals adding sophistication. I would wear this for an afternoon tea or glam brunch with my girls.

The second outfit: Zara cream shorts with turn-ups, a sandy H&M puff-sleeve blouse, the Zara jute knot belt and Primark tie-ankle sandals. The short + shirt combo, accessorised with the belt has an elegant, yet playful style. I finished both looks with my Mango gold chain, camel bag and Kate Spade bangle. You will never go wrong with a neutral style!

BLOCK-COLOUR CAMEL

There’s something about a wide-brimmed hat that makes me feel like mysterious fashionista. When I see beautifully dressed women in the street wearing a wide-brimmed hat I see them as a fashion icon with a life full of secrets. Styling an outfit in one block colour always looks classy; here camel upon camel. Stone/camel/tan colours are striking in Spring/Summer, this ASOS dress sourced from Missguided is a loose fitting, square neck number. The puff sleeves and unique neckline combined with the loose fit screams out for a belt. I clinched in the waist with my tan Gucci belt – my Spring staple accessory. The waist drawn in gives the dress a whole new vibe; spicy. I loved the mix of tan/camel together so decided to build the outfit around a block colour; Zara camel knee-high leather boots, Zara camel bucket bag and the Zara camel wide-brimmed wool hat. As I pieced the look together I fell more and more in love with the visual. Parisian chic! A simple unflattering dress had been transformed into a million-dollar look. Layering accessories can turn the plainest of dresses into a dream look; I cannot wait until lockdown is over to wear this. Afternoon tea and day-drinks outside are calling this outfit!

CAMEL BLAZER

This outfit is perfect for fresher summer days. The combination of neutral tones is so classy. Camel blazers are storming the streets; every fashionista is buying one. Camel is so effective; it can be worn in any season. In the summer camel paired with white and denim is flawless, while in autumn and winter it is perfect paired with black. The ASOS linen, camel blazer has an oversized fit; worn baggy or synched in with a belt the blazer is so stylish. Cow print is a must for this season and going into AW19; this NEXT Cow-Hide leather bag is super cute and fits the neutral vibe.  You can never go wrong with a shirt-dress; so simple yet trés chic. This particular H&M shirt dress has side slits and extended cuffs with ties, perfect to peep out from the blazer cuff. I styled the look with the ASOS padlock necklace – so on trend, ASOS gold crackled trainers and a tan Gucci belt. I also featured a Zara Gatsby-esc heavily embellished headband – I totally love it. Cool camel is simply so timeless.
