A black blazer is an ESSENTIAL piece for any wardrobe. Always on trend, always chic! This H&M blazer has wide lapels, gold buttons and a flattering tailored fit. A classic look I have always loved is a white shirt dress with black accessories; here I added heart print tights, black court heels and the trendy blazer. Finally, a classic red lip and I’m out the door!
The rise of the denim midi-skirt. Being a tall girl, skirts and dresses can cause issues in the Spring/Summer months, but trending this year is the midi-skirt – the perfect solution to my long-leg issues! This ASOS midi denim skirt is a killer piece, the length, colour, material and tie-waist detailing combine to create the most figure flattering skirt on the market. Here I styled the skirt with both a simple ecru ribbed crop top and a tucked off-white sweat, finished with high-top trainers for a relaxed look. The skirt could be dressed up too – a tulle or silk crop top with heeled sandals would create a fab dressy option. Stylish, chic & simple.
The sweatshirt dress is a must for Spring! As the weather FINALLY begins to break into dress weather, a sweatshirt dress is a great transitional piece before the pretty Summer dresses take reign. Statement red is a non-stop trend for me; I always have one or two statement red pieces lined up, whether it be Summer or Winter. This New Look sweatshirt dress is an absolute winner. The American High-School Varsity theme is a VIBE, a look that I’ve always loved. While we are still adjusting coming out of lockdown the comfort of a sweatshirt dress is a great way of getting out of sweatpants and back into the world. Paired with white Zara high-top trainers you cannot go wrong.
The British weather in March can be so confusing; one minute we get downpours and grey sky, the next unexpected rays of sunshine. This outfit is a fab look for this time of year. You can easily throw on a jacket or coat to suit the weather.
I’ve owned these Mango cream flowing trousers for a few years now and I just adore them. The quality, fit and length is perfect. Here I tucked the trouser into my cream Mango boots for a billowing effect. This styling technique is an effective way to wear long flowing trousers without the worry of the cuff getting dirty in wet weather.
The trousers look great with a crop style; it shows the tie waist belt detailing. This Zara pale pink shirt has a satin look which adds femininity. The balloon sleeve, collar and small button details turn this plain style into chic and the gold Zara body chain necklace is a great accessory addition.
This year more than ever we need to spread the love! While we cannot spend time with those we love the most, this Valentine’s & Galentine’s Day gifts can make all the difference. I’ve put together my favourite gifts from luxury to high-street. You can also find a treasure trove of personalised options on small business run websites such as ‘Not On The High Street’ and Etsy. Roses are a must for 14th Feb; perhaps you could get in touch with your local florist to support the small businesses around who may be struggling, if this service is not available for you see below for a list of online florists. You cannot go wrong with the classics; perfume, flowers, chocolates and jewellery, however niche gifts are thoughtful too…anything from a heart painted plate to a sensual torso candle. All of these items are available online. Love is in the air!

WOWZA! This incredible Zara red toggle dress literally screamed CHRISTMAS to me. I’ve always adored Christmas Nutcrackers and Red Soldiers; this popping red maxi dress channels these traditional Christmas ornaments in a fashion forward way. The elongated length adds elegance, while the black toggles add a unique twist. The distinctive neckline is also a beautiful detail. I styled the remarkable dress with thigh high black faux-leather boots with gold stud details. The black faux-leather feather trimmed gloves and black faux fur pillbox hat are stylish accessories to keep warm, while the final yet VERY ESSENTIAL cherry on top is a Gucci red lip. I’m feeling very festive!
Faux fur is a favourite of mine in the Winter, so I instantly fell in love with this Zara tote. The cream extra-fluffy fabric is so soft and luxurious. The seam detailing and oversized fit of the bag are the perfect details and the long faux fur handles look great thrown over the shoulder. The zip fastening and faux leather bottom panel make the bag appear expensive. Styled here with an all-black Winter outfit the maxi tote looks utterly gorgeous!
As a fashionista myself I know what a fashion items a fashion lover would want. With a range of gifts from One Hundred Stars and Lulu Guinness, to Gucci and Balenciaga you can be sure to spoil your fashion obsessed friends and family.
A stunningly packaged bottle of fizz is a perfect gift. Companies really focus on beautiful packing nowadays, which makes a bottle such a great and simple gift. From a crystal skull vodka bottle to a classic Moet & Chandon cracker these gorgeous bottles are a great gift option.
I’ve always dreamed of owning a delectable gown that I could pair with Autumn knits or Spring pieces. While staycationing in Wells earlier this year I spied this incredibly distinctive One Hundred Stars printed duster coat in a small boutique. I’d never heard of the brand, however many celebrities including Nigella are fellow fans. This delicate ‘Iris Grey Gown’ is a piece from One Hundred Stars collaboration with KEW Royal Botanic Gardens. As described on the website ‘the Gown is made from a custom blend of modal and viscose which creates a silky-smooth lightweight material while having a more sustainable impact on the environment.’ Not only did I purchase the gown from a local store, promoting supporting small businesses, the piece itself has sustainable features; two reasons why I adore the piece even more. It was an investment piece at £75; I think it is essential to build up a wardrobe of pieces that you will keep for life. A stunningly timeless piece with unique dusty pink, green and slate grey colouring. The elegant hang and silky feel of the material is everything you would desire in a designer piece. The block colour slate grey waist belt and collar brings the colours together effectively. Here I styled the gown over a Zara cream midi knit skirt, beige top, with my signature Mango fashion wellies. I cinched in the waist with my tan leather Zara belt for a more everyday look. I am totally in love with this design.
