RUFFLES UPON RUFFLES

Layering is a trend to adopt for AW/20. Covid-19 has limited social plans and I’m definitely not the only one who has new summer items that I never got to wear. Layering can eradicate the issue of being too cold but can also give a bold and sassy aesthetic. Here I styled my Zara beige maxi ruffle dress with a white Zara statement sleeve t-shirt. The items work so well together and paired together make them suitable for the time of year, especially with a jacket thrown on. The t-shirt under dress look also adds a casual vibe to the look. I wore my cream Mango boots and statement gold chain to accessorise.

ORGANZA & KNIT DRESS

Organza jazzes up any item of clothing; my point proven on this Zara organza and knit blue/grey mini dress. The block colour dress has a distinctive aesthetic due to the varying materials, high neck and front ruffle. Balloon sleeves are trending yet again, and the organza sleeves on this dress are light and airy. I threw on my ASOS gold chunky bracelet and Mango cream leather fashion wellies to compliment the charming dress design.

SWEATSHIRT DRESS

I adore wearing cream in the transitional period. This H&M cream sweatshirt dress with fluted hem is an ESSENTIAL casual item for this AW/20. Everything about this dress is charming; the colour, oversized fit and fluted bottom, all of which make the design refreshing. I find dresses incredibly comfy, this one is especially cosy due to the sweatshirt material. I accessorised the dress with my ASOS chunky gold chain necklace and bracelet to add décor to the darling aesthetic. Of course, yet again…I styled the look with my Mango cream leather fashion wellies for a monochrome colour scheme.

BOSS LADY

This evocative, quintessential ensemble screams 1940’s glamour; I absolutely adore a vintage look. Fashion just isn’t always as stylish as it used to be. This cream Zara rustic midi dress with front buttons fits my figure like a glove, it extenuates all the right places; pulling in the waist which gives a full hourglass figure. I wore my Zara leather tan belt with statement buckle to further draw in the waist and add a decorative central focal point. I accessorised with a Zara tan fedora and my Zara canvas tote bag with beige piping, the tan accents are perfect against the cream dress. This sumptuous look is perfect for an afternoon tea or lunch date.

BRODERIE MIDI DRESS

Midi dresses are my favourite! As I’m tall midi dresses are the perfect length and fit. This Zara oyster white midi broderie dress with tiered bodice and puff sleeves is a precious design, ideal for the forthcoming Autumn. As the weather turns inevitably chillier a jacket or woolly jumper would be the perfect layering options to stay warm. My Mango cream leather fashion wellies are impeccable for this time of year, especially with the drizzly weather. I paired the prim dress with my darling Zara canvas grab bag with beige piping.

TRENDING CELESTIAL VIBES

The celestial vibe is about to become is a huge trend hitting the shops this AW20. Think maxi length dresses, tulle and ornate accessories. Zara recently released a gold decorative heart minaudiére bag, which I totally fell for! At £30 its pricey for the size, but the aesthetic is so statement, much like a luxurious piece of jewellery. The short strap length means it can be worn round the neck or across the body. The Zara flowing oyster white maxi shirt dress with knot and oversized cuff has a distinguished style; so striking and distinctive. The base oyster white colouring emphasises the gold miniature. I styled the dress with two-shoe options; Mango cream leather fashion wellies and Zara leather beige square-toe loafer, both shoe combos compliment the dress greatly. Finished off with my ASOS chunky gold chain necklace this refreshing, spiritual vibe is one for the Autumn.

FAUX LEATHER TRENCH

Faux leather is ALL THE RAGE for this coming season. Look on any fashion websites new-in and you will spot countless faux-leather options. Around this time every year I begin searching for THE winter coat and this year it is proving to be difficult; TOO MUCH CHOICE. For the autumnal period this Zara off-white faux leather trench coat with wrist buckle, collar and waist belt is a vibe; literally the angelic version of classic black leather outfits from The Matrix. Off-white is a favourite of mine at this time of year, the clean brightness of white always makes you stand out against the dull British weather. Although the coat comes with a matching leather tie belt, here I replaced it with my Mumma’s vintage silver metal Guess belt; this allowed me to draw the waist in more and the Zara diamanté branch statement earrings add a jazzy vibe. I wore my Mango cream leather fashion wellies and the ASOS nude silk scarf. The final look is so a la mode.

LA ROCHE POSAY

@larocheposayuki is my new lifesaver! After my lovey friend Olivia kindly replied to my recent skincare routine story questions with her regime recommending the brand I thought I’d give La Roche Posay a try. After using the cleansing face wash, clarifying lotion and anti-blemish moisturiser for a couple of days and I’m already in love. Any blemishes instantly dried up…I MEAN INSTANTLY. The products smell amazing, feel totally refreshing and the anti-blemish treatments are incredibly reliable. My Mumma even commented on how radiant and glowing my skin was. Since the beginning of lockdown I have rarely worn make up so the effect of wearing more make up again and the heat has made my skin mildly problematic, but I can already tell that this regime is god tier! The higher price tag is warranted for the stunning quality and the quantity of product is extensive. If you’re looking for a new skincare regime you MUST try these products.

SS20 TRENDING ORANGE

PRADA SS20

This vibrant orange Zara limited edition coat is a statement piece to say the least. I adore the popping orange colouring, so on trend for 2020 as seen in the Prada SS20 catwalk. The removable gilet layered pockets have a military style, totally contrasting against the trendy body of the coat which has a traditional aesthetic. The 100% Cotton material looks and feels expensive, the quality of this item is top notch. I simply paired the look with Stradivarius tan braid mules.
