Elephant grey is officially my favourite colour. Move over black leather shorts, these shorts are so unique. The oversized fit and rigid faux-leather material makes the shorts appear and feel expensive. The tie-belt draws in the waist, making the shorts super flattering. I styled the look for a daytime occasion; with my Zara pussy bow organza knit, Mango cream boots and Gucci bag. The look can easily be styled for evening with a satin top and heels.
Back in early September I went on a staycation to Wells, as I explored the small boutique shops on the ‘sale rail’ I discovered this stunning white organza midi skirt from Miss Sugar. Shopping local has never been so important – if you’re visiting Wells a visit ‘Simply Norfolk’ 65 Staithe St is a must! Midi skirts are a stylish item that any trendy individual should own. As the weather was turning I instantly thought of my Grey Zara cropped jumper with puff sleeves and square neckline. Finished off with the Zara tan leather belt and cream Mango fashion wellies the final look has a sassy, yet sweet vibe, perfect for a warmer Winter day. When I first developed the concept for my fashion blog back in 2016, my first ever styled outfit for the blog was a midi white organza skirt and grey jumper. Fast-forward to 2020 and I am still a fan of the white skirt/grey jumper combo. Grey and white is an ultimate favourite of mine, it just always works!
Zara is my treasure chest for the latest trends and statement pieces. A knit skirt and jumper are my ultimate go-to for A/W each year. The cream midi chunky knit skirt fits in all the right places, its thickness gives it an expensive feel. The cropped charcoal extra thick jumper is my favourite autumn purchase, I’m totally obsessed with this elite style. I always find that cropped jumpers and tops are never cropped enough and fit at an awkward length with high-waisted skirts and trousers. This Zara knit is the perfect length! The turtle neck is cosy and the super stylish turn up cuff combine to create an effortlessly chic piece. Of-course I paired the look with my Mango fashion wellies and Gucci bag. Feminine chic personified!
