POWERFUL PINK

Powerful pink, oversized puff sleeve and a unique neckline; this top is the perfect sassy style. Bubblegum pink looks insane against white, here I styled the top with white shorts to minimise distraction from the gorgeous piece. The cropped length combined with the oversized sleeve is extremely flattering. The neckline has fastenings if wanted, but here I wore the top undone for a more casual look. Tan braid mules look incredible against the popping pink and white.

PINK SATIN & BOWS

I always love pink, but this bubblegum pink shade is extra beautiful. This ASOS dress combines the bubblegum pink with satin to create the most darling design. The midi length, loose flowing skirt, long sleeve, unique neckline, cut out back and bow tie back feature forms a gorgeous aesthetic. The distinctive cowl neck and layered shoulder fabric gives a vintage look to the modern dress. I adore a bow as you all know! This oversized bow tie gives a decorative layer to the plain design. White tie-ankle sandals and a blush make-up look complete the pretty in pink vibe.

THE LOBSTER DRESS

This is THE lobster dress. This Never Fully Dressed style; pink satin style body, decorated in lobster print is storming the internet. Who knew lobsters could be so cute. This design is striking and commands attention. My graduation was supposed to be in July, however to due Coronavirus it has been postponed. This is heart-breaking as I would’ve loved to have worn this killer dress. Nevertheless, once we are allowed to party again, this dress will make an appearance. The dramatic sleeves, button front and midi length, combined with of course the quirky lobsters create the most matchless dress design. Never Fully Dressed also released a skirt and top in this print; mix and match for your stunning summer aesthetic.

PRETTY PINK

As we’ve been plunged into lockdown the nation has learned to love its loungewear. How often do we crave being at home and having down time? Although many people are working from home and have the worry of their job and mental health at least comfort is king right now. Talking of the loungewear king, Zara comes to mind.

Zara is leading the high-street with their must-have casual pieces; their sleeveless bodysuits, crop tops and of course their thin knit jumpers are essential buys. Basics are crucial to build your wardrobe and with Zara’s pricing you can buy multiple essentials for a good price. The dusty pink of the thin knit, long sleeve sweater is such a darling shade, ideal for Spring and early Summer. I own this thin knit in both black and ecru also, the gold button detailing on the sleeves is a pretty addition to the plain top. Thin jumpers are flawless and simple to style with shorts or jeans when the weather is still a bit nippy. Here I styled the dusty pink with Zara white jean culottes, River Island white military style blazer with gold buttons and Primark off-white sandals. This look is ideal for a Spring brunch, in my own kitchen of course!

THINK PINK

And I think to myself…what a STRANGE world! But, we’ve still got it make it wonderful! We are all living in a bizarre dystopian world; it’s transporting me back to A-level English studying The Handmaids Tale! Of course, health is everybody’s priority and my thoughts are with our amazing NHS and keyworkers that are working so hard for us all. Currently grounded from Uni, I am relishing in the excuse to relax and for once I feel as though I have time to plan things that I have wanted to achieve for so long. My blog regretfully hasn’t been the top of my checklist as I’m in third year studying Fashion Marketing and Management and everything just seemed to get in the way! However, now this permitted break is allowing me to reignite my passion for blogging. I’m thinking of fusing my love for styling and my knowledge from university studying fashion marketing to create a vlog series or podcast, as well as looking to start a newsletter tailored to inspire you at the beginning of each month. A lot to look forward to! If you’re sat there incredibly bored, try to find a new passion to ignite whether it’s learning to play an instrument, reading countless books or learning a new language.

To LIGHTEN the mood…here is my favourite look to date – THINK PINK! A traditionally male style in popping pink – yes please! I adore female suiting, it’s not only empowering but also très chic. This suit from ASOS is sourced from Topshop. My guilty pleasure is looking at new-in everyday! While scrolling through ASOS new-in I immediately stopped as I saw this incredible suit. The HOT pink colour caught my eye, as well as the unique button formation. The cropped style blazer is so fashionable. Obviously paired with the matching peg trousers the look pops but the blazer can be paired with blue or white denim jeans or shorts also for a more relaxed style. Once the look arrived I was delighted with the fit; the trousers nipped in at the waist and the blazer was cropped at the perfect length.

I styled my egret Converse boots to compliment the vivid colourway of the suit; the off-white shade balances the look. The boots tone down the formality of the look, adding a relaxed, sassy edge. I finished the look with my Ralph Lauren white bag with gold detailing and ring handle. The white accessories provide that essential colour contrast. I would wear this look for a Spring day shopping, a day at a fashion job or a fun lunch-date (which we are all looking so forward to at the moment!). The look could be paired with tie-ankle sandals and a clutch for an evening look.

PINK IS TOTALLY HOT

Forget hot pink…pink is TOTALLY HOT! The most daring colour is a hit for the AW18 season. People tend to avoid bright colours for the fear of looking garish or standing out too much, well I say go for it! This delectable rose pink silk shirt from mango at only £30 was a no brainer for my bank account, it was mine without question. The stunning shine of the shirt can be complimented with a matte white leather skirt and stiletto heels – as styled here – or played down with white culottes and a pretty pump. The lightweight flow of the shirt makes it perfect to tuck and the shade couldn’t be more beautiful. This look can be carried right through to SS19 so it’s a keeper.

BARDOT & BLUE

Bardot and blue; the greatest combination for a simply stunning summer dress. The sweet off the shoulder combined with the cutest frill detail and cotton fabric the dress makes a great summer statement. Although I love Winter glam, the effortlessness of summer dressing is a luxury. What more is there to love than a dress with pockets!!! The pocket detail adds depth to the plain dress. ASOS is one of the best sites to find key summer pieces. With decent prices and their constant student discount, it is one of my favourite sites. Extreme crop denim jackets have been super hotttt this season! This Lasula white denim crop jacket is the finest accessory, even worn on the shoulder the jacket finalises the look. Paired with pink ballet pumps with ankle ties completes the outfit.

PRETTY IN PINK

Blush pink; the colour of Summer 2018. Widely adored Meghan Markle sparked the trend when she styled the Carolina Herrera two-piece at the Trooping of the Colour ceremony. The elegant tone inspired this perfect pink ensemble. The dress from H&M at only £39.99 is ‘made’ for summer celebrations. The pink satin material, the wrap over front frill, plunging V neckline and the ribbon waist tie combined created a subtle, beautiful style. For me a killer hat is ESSENTIAL for a wedding! My very own talented Mumma – self-proclaimed milliner – put together this breath-taking fascinator crafted to fit the outfit. The hat consists of a pink base, with tall curls and a statement flower; an impeccable design. Fashioned with sassy ASOS pink satin stilettos with ankle strap and the PLT petite feather bag the striking outfit was complete. Pretty in pink!
