& OTHER STORIES GREEN MAXI DRESS

& Other Stories has the perfect Spring piece. Midi, fashion forward and green; the perfect dress combination. I am a big fan of thin-knit dresses, the ideal throw on piece for unpredictable British Spring weather. The fit of this dress is impeccable; it tightens at the waist, has a fashionable keyhole neckline and a chic mid-maxi length. The ribbed and thin-knit effect adds quality to the piece. Here I stayed casual with Mango cream chunky boots.

VILLANELLE VIBES – SEASON 3 DELIVERY DRIVER

Killing Eve villain Villanelle is a fashion ICON! Villanelle a Russian ruthless assassin played by actress Jodie Comer is the most astonishing villainous role out there. The enchanting, compelling, strikingly stunning assassin is everyone’s girl crush and her fashion is to DIE FOR (excuse the pun). She is the perfect devil in disguise.

Series 3 starts typically with an array of bizarre techniques to assassinate people. The outfits are as anticipated; outlandish and modish. Of all ways to stylishly do the deed, Villanelles technique of posing as a delivery driver comes with a trendy outfit; in this instance a tan jumpsuit with delivery driver print. Of course, the jumpsuit I am wearing is just plain, but has a similar vibe. This H&M camel jumpsuit is the perfect fit; very often I struggle to find jumpsuits fit the length of my leg and body, this fit hit the nail on the head. Drawing in the waist with my tan Gucci belt adds femininity to the masculine chic. The military inspired pocket detailing is so en vogue. Tan western boots match perfectly, adding height and charm to the look. Keep an eye out for more Villanelle looks.

PRETTY PINK

As we’ve been plunged into lockdown the nation has learned to love its loungewear. How often do we crave being at home and having down time? Although many people are working from home and have the worry of their job and mental health at least comfort is king right now. Talking of the loungewear king, Zara comes to mind.

Zara is leading the high-street with their must-have casual pieces; their sleeveless bodysuits, crop tops and of course their thin knit jumpers are essential buys. Basics are crucial to build your wardrobe and with Zara’s pricing you can buy multiple essentials for a good price. The dusty pink of the thin knit, long sleeve sweater is such a darling shade, ideal for Spring and early Summer. I own this thin knit in both black and ecru also, the gold button detailing on the sleeves is a pretty addition to the plain top. Thin jumpers are flawless and simple to style with shorts or jeans when the weather is still a bit nippy. Here I styled the dusty pink with Zara white jean culottes, River Island white military style blazer with gold buttons and Primark off-white sandals. This look is ideal for a Spring brunch, in my own kitchen of course!

BLOCK-COLOUR CAMEL

There’s something about a wide-brimmed hat that makes me feel like mysterious fashionista. When I see beautifully dressed women in the street wearing a wide-brimmed hat I see them as a fashion icon with a life full of secrets. Styling an outfit in one block colour always looks classy; here camel upon camel. Stone/camel/tan colours are striking in Spring/Summer, this ASOS dress sourced from Missguided is a loose fitting, square neck number. The puff sleeves and unique neckline combined with the loose fit screams out for a belt. I clinched in the waist with my tan Gucci belt – my Spring staple accessory. The waist drawn in gives the dress a whole new vibe; spicy. I loved the mix of tan/camel together so decided to build the outfit around a block colour; Zara camel knee-high leather boots, Zara camel bucket bag and the Zara camel wide-brimmed wool hat. As I pieced the look together I fell more and more in love with the visual. Parisian chic! A simple unflattering dress had been transformed into a million-dollar look. Layering accessories can turn the plainest of dresses into a dream look; I cannot wait until lockdown is over to wear this. Afternoon tea and day-drinks outside are calling this outfit!
