This vibrant orange Zara limited edition coat is a statement piece to say the least. I adore the popping orange colouring, so on trend for 2020 as seen in the Prada SS20 catwalk. The removable gilet layered pockets have a military style, totally contrasting against the trendy body of the coat which has a traditional aesthetic. The 100% Cotton material looks and feels expensive, the quality of this item is top notch. I simply paired the look with Stradivarius tan braid mules.

This Zara taupe voluminous skirt with paperbag-style waist and adjustable drawstrings is a key piece. Paired with the white Zara cut-out shirt, against neutral the summer style palette is aesthetic. The cropped style of the shirt compliments the mid waist height of the skirt. The white wedges add height, finishing off the look.

Would you believe me if I told you these heels are £14?! YES £14!!! The last couple of months my love for Primark has been reignited. Primark is killing it in the current market; the release of their black biker jacket with fur detail was a definite winner against other retailers with identical styles. I have always had a soft spot for nude heels and as soon as I spied these in my local Primark I was astounded by the style. As an affordable store I couldn’t believe how expensive the shoes looked and felt almost reluctant to check out the price…beyond gobsmacked – only £14! Scouring the shoe for some sort of flaw I found nothing!!! The shoe is made up of a patent nude body with pointed toe, against a matte cage embellished with gold studs finished with a stiletto heel and a nude sole. The combination of textures, decor and height accumulates to form a killer heel. With likeness to the Valentino heel these shoes are bang on trend, countless other retailers are drawing inspiration from the notorious shoe brand also but in my opinion these are the winners. Pair with jeans, black or cream this winter to rock a striking look.

It’s officially Autumn…the time of year for extensive walks and indecisive weather. Autumn is perhaps the most confusing season of all for fashion; with the onset of constant rain, yet the temperatures have a tendency to soar complicating the minds of the savviest fashionistas. The easiest place to start is searching for a resilient shoe. I’ve always loved Brogues, the sturdiness and masculine style express Parisian chic. My favourite aspect of these Brogues is in the incredible detail; the cream stitching, silver eyelets to frame the thick lace, the sheen of the black patent material and cream sole – all contributing to the striking aesthetic. Zara as a brand are taking us fashion lovers on a reflective journey through the zeitgeist of 2017 – a time of self-motivation and adoration; an important lesson especially in the twisted world of fashion. Zara’s use of this message is mirrored in the slogan on the lace; the thick cream ribbon printed with bold type ‘UNSTOPPABLE&AMBITIOUS’. The monochrome colour adds modernity to the classic brogue shape and is in-keeping with the sweeping trend of chunky statement laces. RED WINTER FUR

Looking toward Winter – which is just around the corner – this red fur coat on Mango online caught my eye. Despite the hefty price, my inner Jack Frost was calling for this key piece and with red being this Winter’s hottest colour I couldn’t resist. I’ve always been a huge fan of red especially paired with military style accessories. Here I styled the fur with leather look leggings, a thin black jumper with pearl cuff detail, cream and black patent boots and a black military style cap. Military chic is just so stylish and very easy to achieve, especially with Winter fashion. Layering is my favourite aspect of Winter fashion, it enables any outfit to look fashionable. The coat is high quality; the faux fur is luxuriously soft, the crystal embellishment adds decor to the plain red surface, while the oversized lapel adds a dramatic neckline. The beauty of a faux fur coat is that it can be dressed up with all black à la 1950‘s Starlet or just simply with jeans for a relaxed but warm Winter’s day. Bring on the chill ….

In typical British fashion Autumnal weather has swooped in; plush news for us fashion lovers. Although the light white blissfulness of Summer is plunged into memory, the trending deep red hue is so desirable this season. If there’s one accessory you need to buy as the A/W season kicks in, it’s a miniature bag. Miniature bags have the key to my purse strings, I simply can’t resist. The deep red corduroy velvet fabric of this luscious Zara design screams A/W 2017; perfect to pair with black or cream clothing. The tiny handle adds femininity and is perfect to swing alongside an Autumnal ensemble. Metallic gold adds decor to the bag on the clasp and handle attachment, creating the perfect contrast against the block red colour and idyllic to match with gold jewellery. The rigid boxy frame of the miniature crafts a lavish appearance, it’s attracted many compliments and has even been mistaken for a designer. The pure elegance of this little gem enables any outfit to be perfectly accessorised with ease, allowing only essential items to be carried (forcing my outlandish bag brigade of full make-up sets and god knows what, to size down to a minimalist heaven). GUCCIO GUCCI BELT

Everyone loves a little bit of designer…RIGHT? So when it came to choosing a special birthday present I didn’t fancy a cliché piece. Instead I became infatuated with the iconic Gucci belts. The brown real leather option, embellished with the antique gold metallic double-G buckle is the perfect statement piece to accessorise countless outfits. Guccio Gucci the founder of Gucci the label in 1921 is the inspiration behind the the double G emblem displayed on the buckle; perhaps one of the most iconic labels in recent fashion. Guccio’s life story is an inspiration to me. Handling the suitcases of the rich as a elevator attendant in the Savoy Hotel London ignited his initial passion for leather goods. His adoration for finer leather products enabled the development of his multi-billion dollar company. Although this Gucci belt stretches the purse strings the belt is just so iconic. Undoubtedly the style and design will come in and out of fashion, but the belt is a statement piece for life. This shoot is located in Urban Jungle which I think perfectly emulates a Gucci campaign style. I paired the stunning belt with a wrap-over white shirt dress from H&M and Missguided brown leather sandals with gold stud decor. The intense, tropical green surroundings makes the gold metallic emblem pop. In short … I am horrendously obsessed with this belt!

DISNEYLAND DREAMING

Disney is “The Happiest Place on Earth” they say and I agree one hundred per cent! Standing at the bottom of Main Street with Sleeping Beauty’s Castle on view in the distance and a perfect blue sky above – all of my childhood memories come flooding back. Disney has it’s very own sights, sounds and smells and I never get tired of them. It’s no surprise then that a trip to Disneyland Paris was the perfect way to celebrate the end of A-levels. When it comes to styling and outfit for a day in the park, comfort is paramount but I didn’t want to sacrifice style for comfort entirely. Zara sale again gifted a perfect white cotton top; loosely fitted with an elasticated bardot neckline, a cute tie back and this season’s obligatory statement sleeve. I paired this with an adorable sage green, frill bottomed, double layer mini (not Minnie!) from H&M. Of course, no outfit for a day in the park would be complete without a pair of comfy trainers and a pair of sparkly Minnie Ears!

SUMMER CHILL

English Summer is temperamental to say the least! We often buy a whole wardrobe of high summer wear, only to be graced with high winds and cool temperatures, left unable to style those tropical outfits. I have always been a fan of the shirt and jumper combo, it just screams class. The chunky knit of this Zara jumper (from the sale) is perfect to roll up to three-quarter length sleeves, showing a glimpse of an accessorised wrist; in this instance a rose gold watch. The chunky knit also provides the essential warmth needed on chilly Summer days, especially ideal for coastal trips. Pairing the shirt/jumper combo with a denim skort provides the Summer vibe. Navy, white and denim demands red accessories; I chose red frill suede flats; a red box bag (both from Topshop) and a signature red lip to make the colours pop. The final touch needed was the navy and white dotted silk neckerchief, adding a sense of Summer chic to the outfit.

A LULU KIND OF BIRTHDAY

Lulu Guinness is ‘hands down’ the best sale of the moment. For as long as I’ve been a fan of Lulu I’ve been infatuated with the hard-sided travel cases. As a birthday treat I went to Covent Garden on a shopping spree where I indulged my passion for Lulu Guinness. I was ecstatic to discover the porcelain hard-side suitcase was half price. Not only is the Lulu Guinness store stunningly aesthetic, the staff were beyond accommodating, showing me the inside of the case without request and showing me their range of accessories. The inside of the case sold it to me; the striped monochrome lining complete with Lulu Guinness zips and 3 drawstring bags adds a unique quality and sets the luggage apart from any other case, fulfilling the upmost quality that Lulu designs provide. The luxurious suitcase is protected with a sleeve to prevent scratching. Browsing around the store I found a perfect phone case, a red lip phone case – the signature colour and shape of Lulu’s brand; so classy and feminine. The items I bought in store were beautifully packaged in a monochrome glossy bag with red tissue paper as protection; a beautiful keepsake. My Brother treated me to a ‘to die for’ Lulu Guinness card holder. The leather printed with monochrome stripes and red lips displays the classic Lulu print, while the holder provides four card slots; the perfect size to fit a clutch or a handbag. My final Lulu birthday gift is the Dare to Dream umbrella, which is an ideal fit for a handbag. The Dare the Dream font design is classic black and white with red accents.
