SATIN SKIRT & BLAZER

I had been desperate to wear my H&M midi silk skirt for as long as I can remember, but had no occasion that was appropriate; so when I was invited to a Christening it was the first item to spring to mind. I wanted something formal, yet chic and you cannot beat a black and white outfit with a pop of dusty pink.

Knits are a great pairing with satin skirts, but for an occasion I wanted something more dressy. My black H&M double breasted blazer with gold button detailing was a must. The wide lapels and button formation are just beautiful. I chose a white satin crop top to peep out of the blazer; giving an overall elegant aesthetic. I finished the whole look with dainty dusty pink satin heels with ankle strap.

SHIRT DRESS & SWEATER VEST

Zara knits are the one this Winter! The knit vest is perhaps the leading trend this Winter. These two stunning knits were my favourites on the market. Knowing this trend was looming I was checking New In on my favourite sites every day! Finally, Zara released two matchless designs. I love following trends but putting my own twist on them too. I adore green and this shade is particularly unique. I fell totally in love with the unique design; the lettuce sleeve, stitch detailing and high neckline are all details that create the sweetest design. The cropped fit adds a unique aesthetic to the jumper style. Styled over the top of a Zara midi shirt dress with cream boots; the look is an ultimate Winter vibe. The camel cable-knit sweater vest with frills is another flawless design. The oversized fit and V neckline are beautiful details. I was planning on sending one knit back, however I just couldn’t decide which design to keep so settled on both! To finish off the classic fit I added my Zara chunky gold bust necklace with chain. J’adore sweater vests.

ROMPER

2020 truly is the year for updating our casual wardrobe. How seriously cute is this Zara romper?! An absolutely darling design and I tell you what comfort is a strong 10/10. Soft-feel just doesn’t quite cut it; the material is lavish and beyond smooth. The ribbed design adds depth to the romper and the little buttons allow you to button where you feel comfortable. Styled with my Next fluffy charcoal flip flop slippers I was in crucial relax mode.

ELEPHANT GREY SHORTS

Elephant grey is officially my favourite colour. Move over black leather shorts, these shorts are so unique. The oversized fit and rigid faux-leather material makes the shorts appear and feel expensive. The tie-belt draws in the waist, making the shorts super flattering. I styled the look for a daytime occasion; with my Zara pussy bow organza knit, Mango cream boots and Gucci bag. The look can easily be styled for evening with a satin top and heels.

ASOS MIDI KNIT

As you all know, I LOVE a midi knit dress. A one-piece item that you can just throw on is a dream. This utterly gorgeous ASOS knit has a cream colour and is the perfect midi length. The bottom split and oversized sleeves are so stylish and add a bit of spice to the staple item. I adore cream in the Winter, it adds a bit of brightness to the otherwise dull British weather. Here I styled an oversized tan blazer over the dress. The thick knit dress is great for the milder Winter days, the blazer adds that needed extra warmth. I finalised the look with my Mango cream boots, ASOS gold chain necklace and chunky gold chain bracelet. J’adore a knit.

LOUNGING AROUND

Knits are the only clothing items I want to wear right now. Comfort is key! Even though we’re all staying home I still want to look stylish, I’m always on Facetime to someone so looking chic but staying cosy is paramount. Charcoal grey is a favourite of mine, I absolutely love it. The little knit shorts and cropped, turtle neck ribbed jumper is the cutest co-ord going. So flattering and oh so relaxing. Zara have released the cutest chunky cable knit socks. Pictured here, I chose the beige pair they’re so thick and luxurious. Lounging around in these Zara knits is a dream.

FAUX-FUR FASHION

Drama! I absolutely love doing shoots in a professional studio. Everything just pops. Winter is upon us and…FINALLY I have found my Winter coat. This year I was waiting for SO LONG for a coat to stand out to me! This brown faux fur maxi coat from H&M was the one! Coats are my favourite fashion item; they add drama to any outfit, especially huge fur coats. This one has an oversized fit and has a flattering matching belt to draw in the waist. I’m wearing Zara cream baggy 80’s jeans, a cream, dotty, pussy-bow, sheer blouse with chunky black Zara boots and accessorised with the signature Gucci belt. I love layering in the winter, it looks so chic. I’m heading to New York in January, so this coat will be perfect for the chilly days.

MONOCHROME MADAME

Monochrome is unbeatable and timeless. A monochrome theme is effortlessly classy. I am such a fan of the masculine style; male clothing is often better tailored than womens and gives a sassy oversized look. Here I styled a Next men’s white shirt. The slick fit with a double, oversized cuff is perfect to pair with leather bottoms, adding cufflinks to continue the masculine theme. I have been searching for the perfect pair of leather trousers for so long. I wanted something different from the average tight-fitting pair. River Island released this paperbag style leather trouser early Autumn and they are perfect. Unlike the average pair of leather trousers these fit superbly and are effortlessly comfortable to wear for any occasion.

LEOPARD

Is anyone really struggling to know what to wear right now, BECAUSE I AM! The weather is so temperamental most days; trying to avoid that early freeze but being too hot in the afternoon – the struggle is real! The perfect solution is a culoutte jumpsuit. Being long in the leg and sleeve the garment is warm, yet not suffocating. The signature leopard print of AW/18 covers the piece; the most extra Winter statement. The twisted top adds a simple touch against the intense pattern. The culoutte suit is extremely flattering with the twist emphasizing the waist. The leg length is perfect to pair with Winter boots. Pop on a co-ordinating coat to combat the chilly mornings and you’re good to go.

SIMPLE STYLING

You just can’t beat simple styling! Monochrome has had my heart for as long as I can remember and what better to pair with monochrome than red. These delectable ankle boots have become my ultimate staple piece this Winter. Not only is the deep hue of red the perfect shade; the velvet material, the heel height and the square toe are all elements to die for and completely en trend. White shirts are fundamental for for any wardrobe, it just goes without saying! This smooth white silk shirt, embellished with black buttons and stunning cuff design is beyond perfect for this Winter. Paired with cropped black trousers where can you go wrong? Black trousers are killing it this Winter, on every street a fashionista is rocking them. I loved this pair because of the belt; allowing the waist to be drawn in creating a hourglass silhouette. With lashings of Mac’s Russian Rouge lipstick the outfit is complete. Yet another Zara obsessed outfit…EVERY ITEM.  The look is perfect for a Winter date, just the right mix between dressy and casual.
